![]() ![]() It costs $2.99, but there are no in-app purchases available, so you can eventually unlock all areas of the game just through playing. This game is fun and addictive, with a basic, yet attractive interface, and a good amount of features. These points can then be used to purchase additional items from the store including bigger guns, better lures, and various other items you'll find useful as you move into uncharted waters. When the fish get to the surface, they'll fly into the air, and you have to shoot them by tapping them on the screen in order to rack up points. Drop your line down as far as you can, and then bring up as many fish as possible all at once. When you open Ridiculous Fishing, a short tutorial will pop up to give you the basics of the game. As the story goes, Billy is on a quest to find redemption from his somewhat questionable past, and he's fishing like crazy in order to do it. In this game you control the character of Billy, a great fisherman with a somewhat unorthodox fishing style. Maybe if someone knew it's name i could found it, either on the store or somewhere else ? Thanks a lot for your anwsers and i do recommand you this game by the way.Ridiculous Fishing is an arcade-style fishing game for your iPhone or iPad that offers nearly endless options for gameplay. After searching on the store, it feels like it isn't there anymore. So yeah i remember this game very well, yet i haven't his name. The hero had red hair and was on a hoverboard on water i think. You had funny progression, differents level, weapons and power to unlock and quests where you had to go to a certain depths, Hunt a specific kind of fish, make a combo, etc. The graphisms were cartoon and steampunk, and you had tons of weapons as your fishing line: multiples blades, guns and all to shred the fishes to pieces when you came back. But you controlled the fishing line with the phone balance, and had to move it this way only. Hey guys, I tried to get the hand on a game i played a few years ago (maybe 3.?) It was very similar to ridiculous fishing: you had a fishing line going down and you had to avoid fishes to go more and more deeper, so you could get even more fishes when you came back upward. U/SFBTom found the code to Eaglers voicemail! I tried converting ERIC to phone numbers (3742) and using that on the voicemail, backwards and forwards, but neither exist. In the original "Welcome to Brydr" email, it is signed by Eric Eagler and has this wacky signature (that conforms to the art style of Ridiculous Fishing) that looks like it reads "E.J. This time re-tweeted by which lends credence to the images being a part of the game:ĮDIT 3: Looks like Byrdr isn't JUST for the ARG, it's also integrated into the game: There's also a bunch of related twitter ( ) and all those he followsĮDIT: There's also these pictures which might just look cool, but looks repeating and might contain some hint for a phone extension: I can't figure out the last name, the googles, they do nothing with that spelling.ġ234 = You have reached THE MOON. You can leave a message here, but it cuts you off fairly quickly. I've called the number and have gotten some funny responses:Ĭall it to get a machine, wait to input four digits (you do have to wait).Ġ000 = Thanks for trying the first in 10,000 numbers however many years ago.Īre there any other games that are similar to this? With simple mechanics that keep it interesting enough to keep you hooked? Then you factor in all the upgrades.Īnyways, I just saw they released a remastered version of the game on Apple Arcade, and I’m totally sucked back in again, just as I was…. Just the concept of first dodging fish and trying to get your lure as deep as possible, then trying to catch all the fish you just dodged, on your way back up, only for a grand finale of obliterating all of them by shooting them before they fall back down. It takes 3 mechanics that normally would be separate mobile games, and blends them together seamlessly. ![]() Which were fun for maybe like a day, but aren’t games you invest any prolonged amount of time into.īut Ridiculous fishing, oh man, that game actually grabbed my attention and is FUN. Which, if I were to do that, would rather just play on my Xbox or Switch.īecause of this, only games like subway surfer or temple run make sense on touchscreen devices. ![]() ![]() I never usually play games on my phone, the touchscreen just is a horrible input device, and it’s too much hassle to connect a controller. ![]()
